Mine used to do this pretty elaborate call that had all sorts of whistles and chirps. Now he just does cat calls (like they do in cartoons). I can't get him to do his old call.

I don't know. try whistling at him (I assume its a male because males whistle more).

Do you have mirrors in the cage? Some birds might be offended by mirrors thinking that it's another male or soemthing. Some often also stop singing through their annual molt.

It's not mating season right now. It might want a mirror in it's cage. It's cage may be in too loud/ stressful of an environment.
