Give her/him fruit and veg such as :
Salad Cress - Peas - Apple - Celery - Courgette - Sweetcorn - Watercress - Boiled Rice - Parsley Sprig - Grapes - Cucumber - Dandelion Leaves - Broccoli - Broard Beans - Carrott - Finger of bread soaked in water - Mashed Boiled Egg (shell also) - Tomatoes - Lettuce - Cooked Pasta - Radishes (leaves also) - millet
every other day
I had a baby tort which did that. She also ate cats poo in the garden. She died as a 4 year old, we assume she poisoned herself. Keep the cage well clean, and make sure it gets lots of "you" time out of the cage. It might feel a bit penned in
i think your parrot is still hungy, perhaps if you give your parrot more food during the night he may stop eating his poo. if the parrot has food and still eats his poo, i would let a vet know about it.
Self sufficient & efficacy?
You probably don't feed him enough. He knows that he won't get enough food so he eats his crap for nourishment. Try feeding him more and see if he stops.
