Do you think it ill be ok that if I get a cat in the next week or so, and 2-3 months later, my house will be under renovations, the litter box scatching post etc. will have to be moved and then afer renovation its stuff wil have to be moved again. I'm not sure how the kitten will react but after 4 months of moving around the house in safe rooms it will all be over. if or details are needed, just ask... remembr the 10 points. LoL thanks. Serious answers only please!

I will be honest with you, i did almost exactly all that and both my cats were fine.

We got caught up in major renovations, and also had to move feeding bowls and litter trays etc, but the cats were happy as long as at the end of the day they still got to snuggle in bed with me.

Just to add further insult to injury we then got a dog.....cats are still fine.

They are very resilient, and as long as they know that you still love them, they bounce back with little worry.

it would be best to wait in my opinion. the first few months in a new place can be stressful for a new animal. your cat would just be getting settled in and then chos. you may have some behavioral problems that depending on the cat and how adaptable to change he/she is may even continue once everything is back to normal.

I think that the kitten will adapt to the change. As long as it is given all the love and attention it deserves from you throughout the renovations. If you will be too busy to do this then you should wait until you can devote the much needed time to the pet.

In all honesty I would suggest you get a cat after the renovations have been completed and the house is again calm.
