2 cats of mine have been walking around with their neck paralyized in one postion what is wrong with2007-11-25 11:29:26

One cat is a kitten and the other is her mother. Their Heads are cocked to one side. I don't know if this is a illness of some sort.

I would definately get them to a vet ASAP.

This doesn't sound normal and the only thing I can think of really is that they may have fallen and cracked something in their neck area, or did they somehow get into something poisonous? Rat poisons, harmful cleaners and chemicals can cause paralysis.

Did they eat something, or fall off of something? Did they get hurt or abused by someone? Are they outside cats? Cats necks don't "just" get messed up like that..You need to do some investigating and find out what your cats have been up to or in..You really should contact a emergency vet clinic and talk to someone who can give you info on this situation.
