I've been meaning to buy the book but then I found a dummies guide to kittens. I have been planning to get a kitten but I would like to ask for opinions. Which do you find better? Cats for Dummies or Kittens for Dummies?

I agree w/ getting both and try to see if the library has it. Once you read them you will have a good grasp of what to do. You will probably still have questions. I know I did when I got my cat. Also try other books from the library about cats. They all have at least 1 thing that the other books don't have that is good knowledge.

cats is better, but you should buy both, because you will need the kittens when your kitty is a baby, and cats when your kitty is older.

Maybe your library has a copy of the kitten book. I'd check there before investing in both. :)
