Removing a strange Cat
My brother left the basement door open in my house when doing
some repairs I've come home to a suprise I've got a very large brown cat sitting in my kitchen sink in a stealthy position devising strategies on how to get at my pet birds hanging from the top of the cieling (he can't reach them their too high)
Should I wear good leather gloves when removing him in case
he bites or scratch?
Answers:Call your city's animal control and they will come trap it for you or they will tell you who will. Don't mess with it if you can help it. You can try to corner it in one room and open the door or window(First floor hopefully) and try to chase it out but don't grab it. Cats are really nasty when they are cornered. You don't ant to be bitten or even scratched. Feral cats can carry some really nasty bugs and you really don't want them.
Wear leather gloves. Rabies vaccinations are no fun and vey expensive
Yes, do use gloves!!
Open up all the doors in the house and start chucking stuff at it. It will get the idea.
yes and take him to the pound if bites kids might find him
Watch what you do buddy! This is TOM CAT
Get a spray bottle & spray it w/ water..he will move!
if he's not growling and hissing at you, take him to the vet and get him fixed and frontal declaw and shots keep him as a pet. also he could be some ones pet and he just wandered in by curiosity.
he sounds like a very handsome kitty.
or you can bring him to me.I'll take him.lol
If you're going to mess with him, yes, wear gloves. And long sleeves.
If you don't want to mess with him, call animal control. They'll come and get him out of the house for you. And if there's an owner, they may be able to track them down.
I would call animal control, you don't know where it has been.
