Safe clumping litter brand
I have two very finicky cats who demand a clean, lump free litter box, so I have to have strong clumping litter. But, I want to avoid chemicals and other additives in the litter that can cause long term harm. Any suggestions on a safe brand that clumps well?
Answers:There are a few good brands of natural or additive free litter. If you want natural, try SWheat Scoop cat litter. It's made of wheat something or other, clumps, and doesn't smell bad. Another option is Yesterday's News. This is made from recycled newpaper, but it does NOT clump. There are also pine-based litters, though they have a strong smell and do not clump either. I like Dr Elsey's Precious Cat litter. It clumps HARD, doesn't smell and isn't really dusty. All these brands can be found at your local PetSmart or PetCo at varying prices.
arm and hammer super scoop fragrence free
OK this isnt a clumping but its really good! Its called Fresh step, and its really good. Its clay chunks so it obsorbs the smell and pee really well.
fresh step works very well and is safe for your kitties. I've been using it for year's now.
go to your nearest health food store and ask them if they carry kitty litter.
Invest in a self cleaning litter box. I love the litter maid i was given when I resccued my kitty.
I use Fresh Step because it seems to clump really well also is like 95% dust free or something close to that so its safe to use for the cats ive been using it for years now because its also odorless & it doesnt leave the nasty odors when your changing the litter box
I use World's Best Cat Litter. It is made from corn and is dustless and environmentally friendly. It clumps really well.
It is a pricey litter and I just picked up a couple of bags at our local pet discount store, getting five dollars off on each bag.
