I have 3 cats, one of which is a Siamese. He has always been the leader and more aggressive than the other 2 but he has started biting my husband and me and this morning he beat up his brother and left a big bloody gash on the side of his head. What could be going on with him? He is 12 yrs. Brothers are 12 and 11
Answers:Siamese are naturally more tempermental than other kinds of cats, and it seems he is an older cat, which might be adding to his "catitude" It could just be a phase, try to give him a bit of space for now, see if he changes, if not, it could be something else and perhaps a visit to the vet is in order. Good luck!
Siamese cats are very strange creatures, my Siamese cat jumped up in my face and bit me one day for no apparent reason. I spent weeks being treated for the infection. Sounds as though he is just having a moment. Did you call your vet and ask them they may have a better answer for you. good luck
strange. maybe he is having a moodswing or something.
give him a little personal space for a while.
He is likely getting grumpy in his old age. No joke, they do that, and our 2 did it at just about 12-13 years old too.
I would question his health. Changes in behavior such as you describe could be caused by some physical upset or problem. Please have a vet check him out with a blood panel and physical exam as soon as you can.
