Since you haven't given any specifics, I can't help much. But here's some suggestions:

#1.go to the vet and make sure that nothing is wrong.

#2.if you're using a 'store brand' or cheap cat food, consider switching to a premium food. The premiums and super-premium foods tend to be made with more meat, less fillers, and less preservatives and extra junk.

There are also cat foods out there "For Sensative Stomachs". One of my cats seems to do a little better with those.

Sometimes formulas with something + rice are more gentle.

#3.limit the amount the cat eats all at one time. Feed smaller portions, maybe throughout the day.

(I know with dogs, raising their bowls up off the floor aids in digestion.maybe you could try that with your cat, too?)

#4. Don't feed people food. People food is for people. I know cats love that tunafish.but honestly, cat food is best for them. The Purina company (and all other manufacturers) have spent millions of dollars researching the nutritional needs of animals. There are vitamins and minerals in the prepared foods that aren't in a can of tuna, and your cat can't live without the proper nutrition.

Cats can eat most anything.. canned cat food. dry cat food. I do not think it good to feed a cat. OR dog human food from the table..just too fattening

Sounds like you got a hairball issue. Go to the pet store and get some of that hairball paste-a little bit of that on your finger every day should solve the problem.

try giving him the serving size on the back of the bag of cat food you feed him. i use Purina Cat chow for all cats. it is gentle on their stomach and easy to digest. my cats haven't barfed up since. if you feed them too much they throw up. don't give adult cats milk, if you do only give it like a 1/4 cup or less. its hard on their stomachs, unless you get that new friskies cat food that has the carnation milk crumbles in it.

Try different brands of cat food. Once we had a cat though that refused to eat anything but Bumblebee Tuna. He did not even like any other brand of tuna. What a character he was!!

your cat sounds like it has hair balls--if it can't get to eat grass you can buy hair ball remover--ask a vet where to get it.

I have one cat who does that. I limit the amount of food she gets at a feeding and that has solved the problem for the most part.
