About six week ago, my cat was sick. She had a uterine infection, and needed antibiotics. Fortunately, she pulled through, but since then, she has been horny four weeks out of six. She won't stop making these sounds, waking everyone up during the night, and it's much more than usual. Could she be sick?

She could be sick. If you don't intend to breed her, spay her. She's already had one uterine problem that could have been prevented by spaying her. Cats can go into heat every 14 days. Typically it's every 21-28 days, but can be more often. She may be going in and out of several heats, but they are so close together that they seem like one long heat. You could take her to the vet and ask for them to put her in a false pregnancy, which usually has no harmful side effects, but can cause serious problems in some animals. It involves wet q-tips to do it.

She's probably having normal heats, some cats have them more frequently than others. I had 2 cats born of the same liter that I was waiting to have spayed until they were big enough and one of them went in and out of heats all the time and the other one never once went into heat. I would definitely get her spayed though if you aren't planning on her having kittens. Her heats are not going to stop and it's healthier for her to be spayed.
