I personally like Melena. Selena reminds me of the dead singer, and I don't think you want to think of anything dead when you are naming your pet.

WELL THE TWO NAMES SOUND THE SAME, AND WITH ANIMALS THEY GO BY THE SOUND OF THE WORD OR NAME BY WHICH YOU CALL THEM. YOU CAN EVEN GIVE THE CAT BOTH THE NAMES SO IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER.
