What happens if you cat licks some chocolate for like 1 second2007-11-25 12:28:16

Will she get sick? It was a tiny amount of chocolate and I pushed her away right away.

It is SOOOO sweet to see your so worried about her! Really, she will be fine. My cat ate ANYTHING and everything, including earplugs once! I really would just watch the stools for a few hours and make sure she is not getting dehydrated, and offer her a LOT of water and keep her near you for a while if you are reaaly concerned, but I promise, she will be fine. just some extra love will help you to feel better, :) Your going to be a GREAT parent, :)

no, it wont hurt her. i have always heard that dogs can get sick from chocolate but my dog ate my daughters one pound chocolate easter bunny once and he was fine so im sure your cat will be fine.
