I have a kitten that was abandoned in my garage by his mother and he is okay with people but not the greatest. He lets you pick him up and hold him and everything but my dad doesn't want to keep him and my mom wants to keep him untill he older or atleast old enough to leave a home. He's too young to be away from his mother and now doesn't have one. I've had many kittens in the past but never a stray. What do you think I should do with him? Send him to a vet and possibly get out down or keep him from my father and keep him in my room untill he's well enough to be on his own and used to people and live in a home?

either get your mom to talk him into keeping the poor little guy or ask around and see if you can find someone who would be willing to keep him and care for him the same way you would and then you could at least go to visit him and see how he is doing i hope your dad will let you keep him because you sound like you would take good care of him good luck

Who says he'd be put down? He's a kitten..that doesn't mean he'll die without his mother.

Since it's causing strife in your home, contact your local no-kill shelter and see if someone there can take him in. Many have people who are knowledgable in the field of caring for abandoned kittens.

I think what you're secretly hoping is that your dad will let you keep the kitten. See if your mom and you can convince him of that and if not, turn him over to the SPCA and they will take care of him. Don't worry, kittens are usually adopted right away.

well if you cant convince your dad.. see if tehre is a local petsmart by you. And if there is take him there on saturdays until you can sell him. But first take him to the vet to make sure hes healthy.
