Maybe. put a t-shurt or some house clothing that your girlfriend or you have been wearing (not washed) and put it under the sofa so she can be close to your scent at most times.

1 Alot of cats are "skitzo" We had a cat like that for a long time growing up. She never let no one pat her. She was very frigile and very wierd cat! Maybe your kitten will come around. I wouldnt play loud music or have kids running around the house if you can help it. Its good you have her sister there too, she knows she has someone to play with. Good luck and keep picking her up and trying to calm her down. It may work over time!

Have you tried kitty treats? If she gets a reward for coming to you, maybe she will lose her fear. Some cats are not social, and she may be one of those. Also avoid loud noise and sudden movement until she calms down. Hope this helps.

Why is your cat afraid of your girlfriend. I would show your cat more attention. Pick him up more and show more love so the cat will gain the confidence back. When your cat is around other people, just watch him more carefully & make sure he isn't being mistreated. I would also take the cat to the vet to have him checked out to make sure there is nothing medically wrong.

The room is to much for her. I would put her in a crate for a few months. Just make sure she has her food, water, toys and litter pan.
