What type of cat is my type
I like the darker colors, like black.
It should be able to saty in a room for 8 hours while im at school.
It should'nt have long hair, sister and dad have allergies.
Im not to sure about what breed to get. We were think, American Shorthair..but is there any more original ones? Or are American Shaorthairs perfect?

Answers:If you're getting a shelter cat-and good for you-don't get your heart set on a breed, you're not likely to find it, and if you do, another cat my feel better to you when you get there. Pick a cat you respond to, and that responds to you back. Even if you go to the websites and take a breed finder quiz, keep in mind that while breeds may tend towards certain personalities, every cat is different, even if you're presented with 100 of the same breed.
If you need something that will be content locked in one room, a frisky kitten probably isn't the best choice for you. You're looking towards more of a fat lazy lap cat. (Why not let it roam? Cats aren't usually that destructive, and from an allergy standpoint, what's 8 hours out of 24 plus weekends?)
I have a long and a short hair cat, and the short hair, black cat actually sheds more and has more dander than the long hair, brown and white cat. A Rex or a Sphinx would probably be better for allergies, but they're known as hairless (Rexes have very short hair, Sphinx has more like peach fuzz), and may not suit your fancy of what a cat should be. I have also seen articles that black cats are worse on allergies because of their increased dander, etc, than other colors, regardless of hair length. Keep that in mind while you're looking.
I think a Thundercat is perfect for you.
Adopt a shelter cat. Shelter cats come in all colors and sizes.
don t no , all my cats come with no fur , straight into the oven .
i would say the ones with the black and white fur mixed together they have soft short fur, r very calm and playful
