Depends where you live, I work at a vets in Lancashire and we charge 拢45.00 that's apparently quite good. Go to your local vets and ring around, ask about post operative care (IE wound checks and stitches out), pain relief etc. The cost should be all inclusive or at least you should be told all fee's before accepting the service. Most good Vet practice's will offer a nurses consult where you can discuss an pet issues. (please note veterinary consults may be charged)

I'm not sure but shop around. We have 2 vets locally and one charges literally double of the other! Can the PDSA help? They usually do stuff free or cheaper if you live in a certain catchment area.

My friends cats first shots were $80, at 6 months he had him neutered, $60.vet said if he was female would have cost $85 for spayed. If not then a phone call to any local vet would help as they can usually tell you over the phone so you can plan when you want to have it done
