Ive had cats with v weird names. hovis, shaggy, ratty and usual such as Jack. Present cat is called Kat. He responds!! Think its more about the tone when you say it and names ending in y usually better, and names with an s sound. Really though it should suit them. look at them and what do you see? hence shaggy and hovis lol

I have a fluffy white and gray Persian. He's so beautiful! I don't know if anybody remembers them, but there used to be these little stuffed silky animals for babies that were called, Puffalumps? Do you remember? Well, that's what my cats name is, Puffalump, LOL. We usually just call him Puffy for short though. It's funny taking him to the Vets or the groomers and watching everyones facial expressions when they call out, Puffalump!
