I have a domestic short haired orange male tabby.what's the longest you think he'll live and what can I do to ensure me that he'll live as long as possible?what is the expected age he'll live to?

i had a female spayed little gray tiger who would have been 24 in 2 months when i had to put her down.she was a great cat and still very missed, normally, with luck a cat will live 15 to 20 years old

Not sure, I thought I heard 21. I have a 12 year old and he is still going strong! It's all about what kind of care and food you give him. If you feed him generic food, you're cutting his life short. Cats need meat not byproducts and corn meal.

I don't know how old the oldest cat is, I know one that is over 20. get him nuetered to help against prostate cancer, keep him inside. the lifespan as an outdoor cat is aprox 3yrs old. the ave lifespan of an indoor cat is 15+. Make sure he is getting a good diet and gets to the vet on a regular bases. also make sure that he has plenty of mental and physical stimuatlion. lots of toys help

I have a 22 yr old cat whom I rescued when she was fifteen years old. She has very good genes and is well cared for, has a top-notch diet (raw meat) and a comfortable, protectied place to live.
