Whats wrong with my cat I think shes sick2007-11-25 12:30:01

She doesn't have an appetite, she lost weight. and shes thrown up bile a couple times.

Just watch her. When she drops dead you'll know she was sick. I would'nt bother with a ver til she's dead.

Any time an animal stops eating and is lethargic (no energy) this usually means that they are sick and need medical attention. Even if you do check your plants, like someone suggested, this will not solve the problem. You should take her to the vet ASAP.

She may have eaten something that disagrees with her, how long has she been ill? if it has been for more than 2-3 days take her to a vet and get her checked out!

Maybe she needs wormed. My cat did that and I wormed him and now he is fine.

Could be caused from a lot of different things. Your best bet is to take her to the vet. Don't give her milk only water, also this could be a sign of hair balls or worms or posion. Good luck!

i would have this checked out by the vet doesnt sound normal if you think its just because of the food i would try purina one for sensitive systems and it is a good food too

Take her to the vet. With my first cat we waited a day or two before taking him to the vet. We waited too long and had to put him down. He was dying of kidney failure. I suspect now that he may have had a urinary blockage.

could be a multitude of things. Fiv, Feline Leukemia, Liver/Kidney failure, Diabetes, Irritable bowel. Your vet will probably want to run blood work or even keep your cat to administer fluids.
