You can now buy an Allerca kitten for like $3,950. It's a new cat breed that won't cause allergic reactions. Love cats but they make you scratch and sneeze? Not anymore. But the price is absurd!
Answers:Not as absurd as the $50,000 they were charging for cloned cats.
And $4k is really not absurd at all when you consider the medical costs saved over just ONE cat-allergic person's lifetime.
I've been allergic to cats ever since infancy, but I don't plan to get one of these. With the profession I chose, it wouldn't do any good, LOL. I've just learned to live with it as best I can. So, I might as well have any cats who manage to worm their way into my life as it is. :-)
