If she starts getting really rundown and losing a lot of weight, you can start putting out small amounts of dry kitty food soaked in water or kitty formula when they are about 3-4 weeks old. She will start running away from them when it's time to wean. My cat had 5 little kitties chasing here around constantly for about a week or two. One of the kitties got sick, so we would put the momma and the sick baby in the bathroom, and she would give him a little extra love and let him nurse until he was healthy.
