When do cats stop growing
My kitten is almost 6 months (if not already). I'm wondering when he'll stop growing, just to kind of get a general idea if he'll be pretty big or not when he's older. My cousin has a cat (7 years old) that's related, somehow, to my little kitty and he's HUGE. Should I expect the same?
Answers:around 8-12 months somewhere in there. some cats even continue to grow after 1 year. some quit growing around 6 months. usually after about 7 months the growth isn't as noticable. I loved watching my cats grow up we got them at about 3.5 months old. I didn't think I would really notice their growth being I was with them all the time but I remember sometimes coming home from work and seeing that they were bigger than when I left. even on weekends when I would be with them all day at times even a few hrs would pass by and I could see a bit of a change. my cats are 15 months old now and I stopped noticing them growing at about 8 months, I've looked at pictures and seen that they have grown some more but not much.
I think they stop growing around 1 year
They stop growing when they cannot get any bigger.
Cats stop growing height wise when they are around 1 year.
Cats generally stop growing around 1 year. They can always gain weight but height-wise, they get about as big as they're going to get at a year old.
