My cat had kittens 3 months ago. The kittens eat hard food now, but this morning I saw them feeding from their mom. how do I get them to stop?
Answers:the kittens usually stop at aout 1 1/2 months. When your cat is ready to wean them she will.. They are just like us. you shoulnt try weaning them yourself, just let your cat decide when it is time for your kittens to stopdrinking. If you take them off before they are ready they will start succking on your blankets and clothes.
I think the only way is for her to stop them. If she is still making milk then why not let them? There is no harm in it!! When she is sick of them feeding, she will wean them believe you me!
They will stop naturally and trust me after a while your mom cat will stop them. She will get sick of them biting her. Its all a process. Dont worry.

if you intentionally stop them, they might feel stressed out because drinking milk from the mother cat is a bonding process too!
I don't think it's anything to be concerned with, mother cats wean their kittens themselves in their own time. You don't need to try to make her stop, she obviously enjoys it or she would have already stopped them on her own.
