When should I let my 6 week old female kitten interact with my other male 1 year old cat
as soon as possible but in small doses if you male cat doesn't like the new one right away. Just keep putting them together until the older cat will tolerate the other one. Don't get mad at the older one if he strikes the new one at first, it will make it worse, just remove the new one and try again later. The older one will most likely feel threatened so he may be mad for a while.
now. the sooner you get those two together the sooner their relationship will grow.
Introduce them now, but monitor their interactions closely. Don't be surprised if there are a few hisses and swats (from both)..and don't punish such behavior, they're just feeling each other out. As long as neither one is HURTING the other (you'll know by distinctive yowls of pain whether or not one's been hurt), just let them interact on their own terms. In most situations, it's best for us humans to just stay out of it.
But DO keep them separated while you're asleep or away from home.
I wouldn't worry too much as adult cats tend to accept young kittens pretty readily. But it's still best to keep a close eye on things. And make sure your male cat has a place to retreat to where the kitten can't get to him. Her activity level might annoy him..and if he doesn't have a place to escape to, he might lash out at her.
why have u got a six week old kitten in the first place?? they should be with the mom until at least 12 weeks? any younger and its not good for the kitten as it will not be weaned properly?

If your talking about intercourse you need to wait until the female is 6 mths or the first summer after its birth. Other than that. Right away.
ASAP! It is going to take awhile for the older cat to get used to the kitten so start ASAP. I have 3 cats, 1 male 2 females-- the male and youngest cat get along great. He has taken care of her since she was a kitten.
