When the kittens playor do they fight
My roommate and I got 2 month old kittens. They are brothers and i think mine is older because my roommate's kitten follows what my kitten does. Anyways, they play alot and most of the time when they play, they look as if they are fighting. I've never heard them hiss at each other but my roommate tells me that my kitten hissed once. They bite and scratch each other alot.. are they playing or fighting? I don't want them to hurt each other.
Answers:This is just part of their development and it's great you have a pair of them. I think one would tend to be dominant in that situation. They are learning about how to use claws and teeth and they will do an excellent job of teaching one another to "fight fair".
They can't damage one another. they don't have a strong enough bite to get through skin (yours they can get through though so keep nails trimmed).
Two young kittens are such a delight. I envy you!
if they his and really hurt each other bad then they are fighting. if the just run around and jump on each other then they a playing.
It depends. They could be practicing as play-fighting or they just might not like eachother..
their just play fighting
Headline i read in the Onion.Kitten thinks of nothing but murder all day.
It is what they do it is fun fighting but does give them their station in life. If you do interfere with them it will never end as the Alpha never gets their point across and Omega ever learns their place.
