I'm trying to make a playhouse for my 2 cats (like those sold in pet stores and online). The type that I want are very expensive to buy, so I designed one of my own and built it. The last pieces I need are large round cardboard tubing (wide enough for a full grown cat to climb thru). I live in Europe and can't find this material for sale anywhere. I've also looked online. Does anyone know where I can buy this?
Answers:Go to a carpet store and see if they have any tubes that they roll the carpet on. They might even give them to you for free!
Why don't you use PVC pipe instead. That is readily available .

I would try a builders merchants, i'm sure they would throw things like that away every day.
In the U.S. it's called Sonotube. Used in pouring concrete footings. A building materials store would have it.
I have lots of them at work. They are made of cardboard, 6" in the inside diameter, and about 1/4" thick. They are anywhere from 2' to 6' long. I get them from the paper mills. But I'm in the USA. I guess I'm just telling you that there is such a product.
Do you have large home improvement stores where you live? They might have plastic tubes in the size you are looking for.
