Where do cats go all day2007-11-25 12:30:16

I was wondering.would it be mean to put a little camera on my cat's collar or somewhere so I could see that adventures she has? I'm curious as to what she does outside for all those hours.

It wouldn't be mean - it's a good safety measure. You will probably find out that she sleeps the day away, and comes back to life when it's dark.

nope, I think that would be pretty cool! but then again, if it's expensive, don't take it cuz your cat might brush it off or get it caught on a branch or something. and it would not be a pleasant day. and DEFINETLY don't put giant ones on, cuz then they fall off for sure. ( I've tried before. it doesn't work. lol)well, go on and continue your adventure! good luck!

Cats are basically nocturnal, meaning they sleep during the day, up at night. Your cat has found a soft place and sleeps.all day!

It would only be mean to attach the camera in a way that's uncomfortable or unsafe to the cat. If the camera makes noises that we humans don't hear, but cats can, it might be uncomfortable for your cat to wear one. Put it on her while you're home to see how the camera's received. If she wants it off, take it off. If not, you'll have a fun project.
