Where do you guys put you cats litter boxes2007-11-25 12:30:18

Thats one main issiue, because we dont have a garage, so i dont know where to put the cats litter box, without smelling anything.

Answers:

The bathroom is the obvious choice. It is also good training for a new kitten; it certainly worked on my Stimpy. OR you can go to catsclaw.com and get a kit to train cats to use the toilet.

In a closet in a spare bedroom.

My buddy has one in the living room, and the cat took a dump last week that smelled up the whole room. It was sick and he Febreezed the room.

Get Tidy Cats, and then put it in your kitchen. We have a cat, and we put her litter box in the kitchen, and we can't really smell it that bad.

Ihave a laundry room in the basement and the cat does its thing in the litterbox there.

In the second bathroom that no one uses. When we have company, I move it. If you use the right litter and clean it often, it doesn't smell.

I use Tidy Cat, it eliminates smell the best of anything i have used, and i put it in the bathroom that is barely used.

We have ours under the laundry tub in the laundry room. If you can leave the door ajar, the broom closet is a good place, too. Get a covered litter box and use clumping cat litter (we use Premium Choice.unscented and self-absorbing), and clean it out every day and you should not have odor. Good luck fellow cat lover!

Laundry Room. The smell of my dryer sheets always masks any smell. I know that it isn't normal to have a laudry room in all parts of the country so I wish you luck.
