Where would a sick or injured cat hide2007-11-25 12:30:23

My cat has been missing for a few days and hasn't shown up at home. A neighbor said that she found my cat in her apartment building and let her out and she was worried that maybe she was hurt because she found her behind a door and thinks that maybe somebody intentionally squished her behind this door.. I've looked everywhere I can think of, I've posted flyers, put adds in the paper, called radio stations, called animal hospitals and gone to the SPCA, I called the company that picks up dead animals and nobody has found my cat, WHERE COULD SHE BE??

She may have wandered into the bushes, or someone else has picked her up. Is she a calico? I keep seeing a calico cat in my mind in an apartment building.

My cat hid under the couch when he was sick.do you have a crawlspace or something, maybe the cat's under the house.or under someone else's house.

Assuming you live in apartment building im guessing you live somewhere urban? Myself I once lost a dog for 6 months before getting him back.

Keep calling everyone you can possibly think of. Also hop in the car drive around constantly anywhere around where you live. Thats actually how i found my dog.

Usually in dark places. Look in sewer drains and large and small pipes. Garbage places, or anywhere improvised food can be found.

Cat's mormally go somewhere quiet if they are injured - do you have access to neighbours gardens (in thick bushes etc) or garages / green houses.
