You can buy Flea bombs.. for the house.. they are like smoke bombs that fumigate the place.. they are really good but you need to keep the cats outta the way.

For the cats . ( and I suggest you do this at the same time ) front line that also protects the home.. and back it up with flea collars about a week later.For the cat.. not u. HA HA

for the cat, get some flea and tick shampoo, for the house, bomb it with pesticide for fleas and ticks. it wouldn't hurt to get one that takes care of roaches as well.

You have to be dilligent with this for many months. Use a spot treatment on your cat like Frontline. Treat the house with a spray to kill the fleas in the carpets/furniture every week & hoover every day for a month & that should about do it.

first a flea bath. then remove the animal and buy some bombs at the pet store. set them off and 4 hours later you should be good

For the cat give it one Black Walnut pill after you bathe it and it will kill the fleas. You can purchase Black Walnut pills at a drug store. just give it one about every week or so. The house on the other hand can be tricky. You can use flea powder and put moth balls in your vaccuum they always help. I have four cats also and had the very same problem at one time

We had the same problem..if you have loads then time is needed we got lucky with our 3 dogs and cat it was coming upon winter the fleasdies off..but we had orkan come in and left the house for a few days and sent the pets to the kennel for 3 days to get dipped and groomed.its expensive we almost just wanted to move.haahahaha

I've read that dipping your cat (dog, etc.) in Listerine will rid them of fleas. It's a powerful antiseptic and, apparently, it will kill other things as well. Plus it's not poisonous like so many of the flea powders and dips.

There is a plug in thing that has a night light on it and flypaper trap to catch the fleas, it is wounderful!!

You need to treat the cats as well as the home. Advantage is the best flea control. You get it only from the vet. I also have some type of "flea pill" from my vet that I use with the Advantage. The fleas just drop off the cats. You also need to get someone to come in and spray for the fleas. I just had this problem and sprayed my house last week.

I bathed furmey today (just discovered fleas on my all white cat), well they dont exactly die in the water but they got imobile I had to pick each one off her and watch when the water goes down the drain the fleas come back to life. im getting ready to put advantage on her and clean the hell out of my house.
