Why are my cats eyes all red and irritated2007-11-25 12:31:38

Just a couple hrs. ago I noticed that my kitten eyes where all red and puffy like. I tried to find some info on line but had no luck. Does any one know what could be the caules of my kitten鈥檚 eye issue??

Lil info on stormy..

o He is 2 months old.

o He is Siamese.

o Has blue eyes of course.

o Inside all around healthy kitten.

he could have alergies , he may even have scratched him self when he cleaned his face , try putting some warm compreses on it even coll ones , if the eyes dont seem to get better in a couple dayws take him to the vet he may have gotton a foxtale or some other debri in his eye , if u have other cats theres a possibility that he may have gotton scratched in the eyes

SOmetimes with the weather change kittys can get colds, and cold in their eyes. This isnt something a doctor would say to do but I have done it in the past to many litters of kittens..take a damp warm cloth with milk and gently rub the eyes while closed. Never ever touch the eye open. SOmeone may have a better answer but I know this has worked for me. If this continues take her to the doctor

Okay, I didn't want to have to tell you this, but your cat and my dog got into the liquor cabinet last night and really tied one on. They were up all night. I think your cat is a bad influince but I forgive you.
