Why are some people so hard hearted and cruel to animals2007-11-25 12:31:40

I cannot understand why anyone would want to hurt or even kill companion animals such as cats..or engage in dogfighting, hog-dog fighting, or cockfighting..people who are deliberately cruel to animals totally disgust me. Consider what some of them turn out to be.rapists, child molesters, serial killers.What's so funny about harming an INNOCENT dog or cat?

It isn't funny. I work in rescue and it still amazes me the cruelty people bestow on innocent animals. When you think it can't get any worse, it does. The things I have seen..still make me sick to my stomach when I think about them.

Because they know that the animal can't kick their like a human would. They're cowards.

Anyone who abuses an animal is a potential child abuser or spouse abuser..that's a documented fact.

I totally agree with you. What is wrong with these people? I have to believe it is some psychological defect. Animals are so innocent. Some people are just monsters.

i beleive those people never learned empathy. and you're right,alot of those kind do turn out to be sociopaths. makes you wonder how they relate to other people,doesn.t it?

unfortunately lots of people don't see what people like us see when looking at an animal.They see animals as money makers, forms of cruel entertainment,etc.anything but what they truly are.i pity these people,they don't know what there missing.
