Cats constantly lick their fur. It's a way of keeping clean. Your skin has oils on it, so it's just natural for the cat to clean themselves just as you would if you got dirty. Don't take offense, it's just how they are.

They are grooming animals, firstly its to rearrange their fir and also to lick the salt you left on their fur. Ever notice how dogs and cats may lick your hands or feet? You think its love but its all about the salt.
