Why is it so fun for them to do this?
Answers:I have NO IDEA! But boy is it funny! Our cat Missy will jump in one so fast,and then she will start scratching around. She now has her "own" box.
basically, it is because they are stupid
i adopted a kitten 2 years ago and he came home in a box, i think thats why cause coming home with me was the happiest day of his life, but really i think its because they can get in and be surrounded but still keep an eye out for what around them, my cat Bo loves getting into the smallest of boxes, he gets into drawers and bags to, loves shopping bags!
cuz they are snoopy and they like to act stupid..so a box entertains them
Because they can hide just as if they were hunting something. I love watching them play with paper bags too!
Cats are naturally very inquisitive and love exploring.and to top it off, they love hiding spots. Our male will jump into boxes and go to sleep because he feels secure in 'em.
don't know but it's fun to watch them as well
