Why is my cat rolling on her back and licking her paws then rubbing them on her mouth and making wei2007-11-25 12:33:00

My cat keeps rolling on her back and then licks her paws and then rubs them on her mouth. For the past few days shes been making weird meows. It sounds like when a person groans when they feel like vomiting, but mixed with meows. Like an annoyed purr meow. shes been eating and drinking normaly but her meows worry me. im not sure if shes been spayed and i dont have money for a vet. does anyone know what might be wrong with her?

Sounds like she's in heat!! When female cats are in heat they make really weird sounds and display really strange behavior!! If you have never seen it before; it can be pretty shocking!! Unless you want kittens, you better get your cat to the Vet. ASAP! If you have a pet door, that allows your cat to come freely; i suggest covering that hole! Or crate your cat! The males will come right in, if she doesn't go out first!! Good luck!!

Sounds like your kitty may have ate something that has irritated her mouth or maybe a tooth ache. Call around there should be a place to take her that will work in payments with you. Good Luck
You have a weird cat dude..
Your cat is in heat! For her health she should be spayed. Call your local animal shelter they will tell you where you can get a low cost spay done safely.
She has NOT been spayed. Don't let her out. The meows are her way of calling for a Tom - a male cat. This will continue every time she comes into heat (ready to mate). Save your money and have her fixed when you can.
Sounds like she's in heat.
Could be allergies from something she ate or got into outside. Give her a bath and see if she is relieved from this.
All cats lick their paws and rub them on their face. They're just cleaning. But the rolling around/meowing thing pretty much means she is in heat. Give her a week or two and she should be fine.
she is in heat.becareful cuz sometimes they can bleed down there so just watch her..she might start doing this every month dont let her outside or u will have a litter of kittens to look after..y dont u call a vet and see if they do it on certain days like free or half off
Sounds to me that she is in heat. Make sure to check if she has been spayed. if not I really suggest start saving up for it because once they start with the weird noises it will not stop until you spay her. and try to keep her indoors. another thing those noises will attract male cats to your house so be aware they might leave a stinky urine mark outside your place.
She is in heat silly, call a local vet and get a referral to a low cost vet. Probably at the humane society as spaying her is the only humane thing to do. It really annoys me that somebody would buy a cat (a living being) without studying this info. Good luck to you and YOUR CAT!
sounds like she's in heat!
Nothing is wrong with your cat. It is in heat. These are the excact same things my cat does. Cats go into heat every few weeks. Getting it fixed would be the solution.
my cat fluffy did that the last two times she was in heat. so that sounds what your cat is going through
Sounds like she is in heat. She will be very creative and determined about getting out to seek a mate, so if you can't afford spaying now watch her very carefully.
