Why is my cats vomit white2007-11-25 11:59:28

What does it mean when your cat is vomiting thin, bubbly, white liquid? It just started recently, like few days ago, and he has never done it before. He has vomited his food out before, but that happens rarely.

Answers:

First, take him to the vet. I had a problem with my kitty not that long ago. He was throwing up for a few days, no food or anything, just bile. He is inside with all his shots like yours. The vet told me that he had allergies and gave him a steroid shot. He had some swollen glands above his back legs. It hasn't happened since. Who would have thought, cats with allergies? The white color is what seems strange, take him to your vet ASAP. Good luck!

Maybe your cat has been eating too much grass.

Sounds like he is just vomiting mucus and saliva because he doesn't has any food or fur to vomit up when he does this.

My cats and/or dogs have done that a couple of times, but im pretty sure they just ate too much grass. Since you said your cat is an indoor cat- im not quite sure. If he/she keeps on vomiting white stuff, take him/her to the vet

Check to see if your cat's food is on the recall list. If it is, get him to the vet immediately.

He needs to be seen by a vet. Sorry but only a vet can diagnos and get him the help that he needs. If he's been vomiting for a few days he's sick and needs the vet. Good Luck
