Why is my kitten peeing on carpets2007-11-25 11:44:14

The only other thing I can think of is to clean his litter box more? I know you probably clean it every day... but my kittens were doing the same thing. Turns out, they didn't like sharing a litter box, so I had to get another one, and I started cleaning it once in the morning before my shower and again right after dinner. My kittens have SO trained me to be their slave...

First the myth "rubbing his nose in it" is just stupid. How would you like it if someone rubbed your nose in your pee when you were a baby? I wish people would stop saying stupid things like that. I think that's just cruel to a kitten.

I think you need to get your kitten fixed. It's the best thing for him. He'll stay cleaner. Let him go outside and watch him. Kitten's need fresh air.

I'm thinking just maybe he's getting back at you for not allowing him to go outside more. Pet's love being outdoors. The problem is SOME people just don't want to be bothered. If you have a pet you have to make time. Good luck and be kind to your pet.

He is a bit young for normal neutering, but many vets will neuter a male at his age. I am not sure that is the answer, but it will forestall future problems like spraying.
