My 2 year old male cat has recently been uninating on my bed and in my hamper. I have no idea why he is doing this, a friend told me it might be a urinary tract infection so I bought some food for it in hopes that it would help..it didn't. I hate having to keep him locked in the bathroom but at this point I feel like I have no choice. I haven't taken him to the vet yet on account of the fact that I haven't had the time or money for it. Someone please hlep.
Answers:he may be marking his territory..have him fixed at the vets..(nuetured) that will solve the problem
probaly in heat, i need to get his nuts chopped off

Its his bad habit & you should prevent him now for atleast to sleeo or go on your BED. You should tie her & kept him somewhere else 4 month.. Then he will leave his habit..

I'd find a way to get him to a vet quickly! Cats can develop urinary infections which require antibiotics to cure. One of the first signs is that a normally well trained cat begins avoiding the litterbox. If he seems to be straining to pee or squatting to pee quite often he could be getting into real trouble. Cats can die from this in a very short period of time (couple of days I believe). The food alone won't help. It's designed to help prevent urinary infections by changing the PH in the urine. If he's got an infection already he needs help. Male cats are more suseptible for some reason.
I had a dog to do that.. But he only pissed on the companys pillow that was staying at our house at the time.. The vet said that the dog had something against that person.. So it could be something went wrong in the relationship between you and your cat..
First take him to the vet. Or It might be some territorial male thing! :) He might be marking u as his. seriously. I used to let my bird fly round free and he wouldn't let any one near me or he'd attack them! its probably nothing
