Why is my male cat urinating on my bed2007-11-25 12:33:01

Cats can be great pets. Mine always used the litter box, but some have accidents. Maybe he doesn't like the litter or maybe he wasn't trained properly.

They also tend to go back to the same spot, so for awhile keep him in a small room with the litter box, food and water and do pet him often..letting him out some also.just not in that bedroom.

I had a male cat do this many years back. The vet said he was marking his territory. So he's probably marking his territory or is in heat.

ya ya it may be as simple as the cat doesn't like his liter or the smell it has. try changing it. also see a vet if that doesnt work.good luck

he is marking his territory. is there a dog whisperer for cats? he needs to learn it is your territory and not his no matter how much he wants to pee on your stuff.

your male cat is asserting his rights. he is marking HIS territory.They are just like male dogs when it comes to their territory.

omg that exactly what happened to my cat when he was 2 years old and we just got him! if u want to stop peeing on ur bed then wen he jumps on ur bed tell dont let him go on ur bed n e more and wen he doesnt go on ur bed he wont pee so. in a month or so he'll learn his lesson and wont pee
