Why my cat so talkative

Why my cat so talkative2007-11-25 12:33:09

You'd think after a while her throat would get sore, but it doesn't seem to.

My cat doesn't look oriental either. Amazingly enough, some people see this as a very desirable trait in cats and some are actually bred for this!

When you go to sleep you leave her alone. (or so she thinks) that's probably part of it.

Oh you know what? Cats are very social and do better with other cats if you can do the expense of it.

Maybe shes in pain somewhere, check her paws incase she has glass in them., or take her to the vet. She may have fur balls in her wee tummy and they come form her cleaning her coat, because there tounges are rought you can guess just how much fur she is sallowing its worth a shot anyway good luck
its not a siamese is it? my siamese never shuts up talkin.
well is she fixed if not she could be in heat i have a female that is not fixed and she talks all the time
As others have said, some cats are just naturally talkative!

I have two cats - the older one (female) only makes a noise if she wants something (usually food or attention!). She did go through a very loud phase when she was young and horny - even the next door neighbours could hear her when she was on heat - but that was soon fixed with a trip to the vets. We now have the odd conversation but she mainly communicates with purring and little chirps. Recently when she had to stay in at the vets for a while I discovered she never made a sound at all unless she saw me!

My younger cat (neutered male) is quite the chatterbox - sometimes he's quite happy prowling around talking to himself (and he really does sound like he's actually talking!). He's got a big voice on him for a little cat - but that's just the way he is and I love him for it!

some cats are just more vocal then others. Siamese are known to be very vocal and it is in their breed stats. if she has been this way since you got her i am i afraid you just have a chatty cat. if not i would advise going to see a vet as there could be a problem.
Perhaps it needs a play mate why not get another kitty
