nope its whats cats like to do the minute u put them outside they want to be there all the time dont worry it will come back if it leaves it will start getting into fight thow

Be diligent about keeping her inside. After awhile, she'll stop darting for the door.

it might help if you had her fixed. she will miss the outdoors but and she will probably cry for a while but she will get used to not going outside. Get her her own little house so she can climb to the top and look down on everything that may help too. if she likes certain things about the outdoors see if you can replicate them. Get a plant or two in the house so she can smell them. it will help her adjust.

My 6 month old kitten is the same way, I live in an apt, and have only carried him out in my hands in fear of him jumping off. Now he whines in my BF goes outside to smoke, he wants to go too. My cat hasn't even experienced climbing trees or chasing bugs or anything. It may be the feeling of fresh air too. You may have to not give attention to open windows and such. Ignore his whines if he is sitting there, or pick him up and play with him on the floor with no wind!

Just don't let her outside anymore if you are worried about her. I always had inside/outside cats because we have a doggy door. Ensure you get her spayed, though, for many reasons. She will make a better cat indoors if she is spayed. You will not destroy her by not letting her outdoors. My vet always recommends keeping them inside for many many health reasons.

Not to be a jerk..but don't let her outside. My friend doesn't listen to my warnings about the dangers of cars and the outdoors for her kitty cats. Two of her cats have been run over and left at the side of the road for her to find later. Keep her inside she will get over it..it's far safer and healthier.

I used to take my cat out on a leash. But then I stopped taking him out. I moved to a farm and there were lots of other animals there that were not declawed and I didn't want him getting hurt.
