*is it cold there? if so, check the neighbor's garages or any place warm

*leave food outside for him so he will be enticed to come back when hungry

*ride around your neighborhood on bicycle and ask neighbors if they've seen him

*this is a big one.if he's used to being inside, he may have climbed up a tree and had difficulty getting back down. if he is in a tree, he's probably nearby. walk outside when it is quiet and call his name. you may hear a meow

*make sure he actually got out the front gate. i had a cat that was hiding out in the garage for the longest time. we thought she was somewhere else

i have had many pets over the years, so i know how horrible it is when they get lost! but don't worry! i'm sure you will find him soon! cats are very smart creatures. he's probably just having fun exploring.

how old is kitty? is he/she fixed?? if so, i wouldn't worry, cats are curious and they want to explore and hunt small animals. my suggestion would be to put up some flyers in the neighborhood with the cat's picture..good luck

He's probably out having the time of his life catching mice and rats and birds. He will come back.
