I would hesitate to worm a cat that looked pregnant.
I would not trust a vet who couldn't tell the difference.
Good luck to you and Cat.
I am a licensed vet. Worming a cat while it may or may not be pregnant is totally safe to the mother and the possible kittens forming inside. In fact, I've seen many cases of it and there were never any unfortunate outcomes. If you feel you need to call a vet in your area, do so, but make sure you speak to the vet yourself.A lot of times the receptionists that answer the phone are there to do just that and don't know much about the medical part of the job.
Well, with dogs, you do not worm after the third week of pregnancy.
I would not worm her until she has the kittens. You would still have to worm them also, so why not do them all together.
You can worm the mom and kittens at 2,4,6,and 8 weeks.
