Would a neutered 1 year old male cat not accept another a 2 months old male cat
I want to have this 2 months old male cat at the pet shop but Iam scared my male cat would suffer or be jealous even though Iam intending to have this new kitten neutered soon if I would buy it.
Answers:I have a 14yr old neutered male who's been the only cat the entire time. We recently found & took in kittens. We ended up keeping one and I can say from experience once the baby was neutered things definitely calmed down. Our older cat didn't like how the baby had so much aggression and constantly attacked. Our old cat was very patient, but annoyed. It's amazing how calm the baby is now around our older cat.
We made sure to keep the new ones isolated so that our "baby" could get slowly used to their scent without feeling threatened. The attached links should give you some good advice for how to introduce the new kitten into your household.
It's now been several months, and they aren't the best of friends but they do sleep near each other and seem to have a truce going. As time goes on we are sure they will get friendlier toward each other.
It's possible because cats are very territorial, especially males. They will get used to each other with time.
most house pets accept each other after a while there will be the pechking order thing but in the end you should be ok

I would hope so. Since both will be neutered, they hopefully won't "mark or spray" the home for territory.
They will fight a bit for dominance, that normally won't last too long it will be "loud and rowdy" and yet most times it not painful.
They usually accept them after a while or right away,but with males they like to show who's boss and who's home he might start spraying to let the other now who's teritory he's on.They spray to show there mad or to show another cat that he was there first and he's the man of the house lol.
