i have a new kitten and she won't stop crying. HELLPPPPPP MEEE!?
Answers:If your kitten is less than 6 weeks old I would suggest you take her back to her mom until 6 weeks is up. She is not really ready to be weaned. If she is 6 weeks old then she is just feeling insecure. If you can put her in your arms and stroke her and love her for a little while she would probably enjoy being comforted. Give her a place with cat toys and a bed that she knows is all her own with her litter box. Put her in there with food and water, after a while she will settle down. Check on her often, and cuddle with her often.
Just baby her a lot and put an alarm clock (that won't go off) beside her. It also helps if she has another kitty companion, but depending on your state, that may not be possible.
She probably wants to be held. Hold her close to your heart so she can hear it beat that usually calms them down. You might also want to try and play and see if it might be hungry. It's looking for it's mommy and you have to one to the kitty till it gets older.
She's probably scared and lonely. Hold her till she falls asleep, talking to her softly, and stroking her hair. She'll be much calmer when she awakens, but you'll probably need to do this many times till she knows you're she new "parent".
Take your thumbs, and rub them across her face, towards her neck and the top of her head, kinda like from her nose on, stroking with a little bit of pressure. Go with her fur. This is kinda like momma cat licking her, and it's a soothing action. This worked wonders for my baby kitty! Remember, a little pressure is okay, just not too hard
give it time, she's probably a little nervous in her new surroundings. let her know that she is loved and has nothing to worry about.
Make sure she has had enough to eat and drink (only water cos milk can cause upset tummies). She will need to be fed 2-3 times a day, depending on how often they fed her where u got her from.
