ok my stupid cat is keep pissing on everything, she knows were her litter box is, HELP2007-11-25 12:24:51

my dad already hates her and if he finds out that she has been pissing on everything, then he is going to kill her.

Answers:

First, go with the obvious--is her box clean, and is it somewhere she can easily get to it?

If her box is in good shape, and she's going places like in the shower, and on plastic, in "cool" places, it could be that your cat has a urinary tract infection, which should be treated by your vet.

Also, I've noticed that my cats will go where they're not supposed to if they come across some other stong-smelling odor--be it dirty laundry, something smelling of smoke--trying to cover up the new scent with their own.

And if the smell gets only partly cleaned up (if any scent remains) the cat may return to pee there. In this case, I would say to be sure that when you're cleaning up one of her puddles (for lack of better verbiage), you get ALL of the smell out. Use one of the odor eliminators with enzymes so they actually destroy the odor molecules. I've been using Zero Odor, and it seems to work better than any of the others I've tried (and I've tried Urine Gone, Nature's Miracle, Petzyme).gets the smell AND the stain.

she is probably afraid and anxious because of your father's attitude towards her. For her safety find her another home. She sounds terrified out of her wits poor thing.

I had the exact same problem. We got a second litter pan for her and put it near the main spot she pisses when she's not using her litter pan. That pretty much solved our problem

For some reason she has either been scared or is getting even for a slight that someone did to her.
