our cat is dripping water out of his mouth and2007-11-25 12:24:55

he seems to have poisening. our other cat died when she did this a few months ago. she died in about 45 minutes after we noticed the water comming out of her mouth. our vet says this cat is sure to die also but he is still alive after about 24 hours of this,. also he is eating and drinking fine he is even fairly active, but the water is still coming out of his mouth. has any one heard of this and do you think it is just taking a long time for him to die/. he doesnt seem to be in any pain.

omg.. are you just going to let your kitty die? take him to the vet and if they can't do anything for him at least maybe they can tell you why your cats are dying off.. please don't let the cat suffer more that it has to. if it's going to die.. put it to sleep, dont let it just suffer.

My friend's cat used to drool a lot when it got old, maybe it's just uncontrollable drooling.

If it is a poison that has gotten to his liver he will succumb from it, it's just a matter of time.

What is it in your environment that is causing this to happen? You surely must identify the agent if you are going to continue to have cats.

Take your pet to the vet. If he/she had been poisoned, and there is nothing the vet can do to help, and if the cat is suffering. You may need to consider putting the cat to sleep. And before getting another pet, ask what poisoned the other cats to make sure it does not happen to your new pet.
