I moved into a trailer and apparently the last tenants had cats. In one of my closets there is a smell of cat feces. Can someone tell me the best way to remove the odor completely?

remove the carpeting or flooring and scrub the walls with an over the counter pet odor remover usually sold at pet stores.

rubbing alcohol or vineger (NOT together) do the trick too.

Open air (window or fan) may help speed up the process.

I don't remember what show i watched.but they were cleaning up pet stains.and they used ammonia.diluted in water..make sure it's diluted correctly..just read the instructions

If it is carpeted then the best way wold be to remove that piece of carpeting. Since it is in a small closet you could go to a carpet store and ask for remnants, find a piece that best matches the flooring and simply cut it to fit. If you rent this makes it more complicated, but at the same time you could file a complaint with the landlord because they obviously did not clean the trailor properly before rerenting it. If they aren't willing to help then they may not mind if you replace the piece of carpet. It's very cheap but make sure you get a piece of pad to go under it otherwise the smell will just come back through.
