please I need help I have 2 kittens thier mother died yesterday what can I do

I have 2 kittens they are 3 weeks old, their mother died yesterday in a terrable accedent,I dont know how can I feed them and and by what tecneque! especially I am in Iraq where is no pet stores!! please I need your helps..

Orphaned Kittens

Put them both in a box (a paper towel box from the grocery store is ideal). Place plenty of newspapers, some soft flannel (preferably) in it.

Very young kittens cannot maintain their own body temperature and need external warmth to keep them alive. Keeping a kitten warm is extremely important and can be accomplished by several methods. A hot water bottle is a good tool to use but make certain that the bottle is wrapped in a towel and that it is not so hot that the kittens will burn or become overheated. A warm towel also does the trick. If you use a heating pad, put it on low and put it under layers of newspapers and towels, since there is a risk of overheating otherwise. Make sure it is set on LOW, and takes up only about half of the surface area.

Nursing orphaned kittens:

Kittens should never be fed cow's milk. Kitten formula is readily available at area pet stores. "KMR" or kitten milk replacement is packaged either as a pre-mixed formula or a dry powder that must be mixed at home. Just Born or Lactol are other brands they may be used. The formulas will tell you roughly how much to feed and how often. If the kitten is particularly malnourished, you can substitute Pedialyte for water when mixing dry formula. It's much easier to buy one container that is premixed, for speed's sake, and another that you mix yourself. I sterilize the water by boiling it for 20 minutes, let it cool, then mix it with the formula. Like a baby, formula should be warm enough to drop on the inside of your wrist.
