does moving the furniture upset my cat?
Answers:It can. It depends on the cat.
Cats love routine, hate change and anything that wasn't their own idea, so, if they had a choice you won't change the furniture.
Good thing you aren't ruled by your cat!
yes it does actually. My cats are always pissed when I rearrange the furniture.
Yes, this upsets cats. they don't feel comforted since you moved around furniture. they will adjust. wait a little while to do another room.
Our cats are always quick to notice when we rearrange furniture. They go around checking it all out. Sometimes I wonder if they think we are moving, which is a traumatic experience. I don't know if your cat is nervous about the furniture being moved or what. It shouldn't take long for it to adjust.
Some cats will get very ticked off at that!
Cats, dogs and some people get upset when you move furniture. Since they are creatures of habit, it upsets them. There are people that put furniture in place and NEVER move it. I move furniture almost monthly in every room.It bothers my dog, but he doesn't get upset any more.
That must mean something. I wonder what?
No dont wait, move everything, then they can get it over with, dont forget to move their feeding dish and litter tray as well..go for it.
You show them whos Top Cat.
Cats can either be fascinated or frightened by change.
It is best to do things incrementally . in small steps . if your cat seems pissed or afraid. Otherwise, your kitty may respond by pooping outside the box.
Give your kitty time to adjust before rearranging more furniture.
Purrrrrrrr
Might depend on the cat, mine love it as long as they have their favorite spot still available, did you block the favored window or something? They should get over it, mine just get pissy during the moving of the furniture, once it's done it's a new room to them to explore, climb, and have fun in.
